there are Cobalt Blue graphics depicting the legendary Chinese Firebird on each side. around the neck are four Elephant head handles holding rings. Chinese calligraphy indicates the  Ming Dynasty, XUANDE 1426 - 1435. there is another similar sized pot the same color but with a dragon motif on each side

Blue, rose and black colors depicting a raised voc insignia of the dutch east indies company on both sides with ornate infill panels. Three elephant head handles with three raised voc emblems around the neck and a temple dog on the lid.

there are Cobalt Blue graphics depicting a peacock on each side separated by floral panels. around the neck are four temple dragon handles. a temple dragon adorns the lid. Chinese calligraphy indicates the Ming Dynasty, chenghua 1465 - 1487. there is another similar sized pot with the same coloration but with a dragon motif on each side

The shape of this pot indicates it was used to transport oil or other "heavy" liquid on the long voyage from china to the spice islands. traditional raised dragon motif top and bottom with no discernible Chinese calligraphy.
